Eligibility Criteria for Admission

Eligibility: To be eligible for admission to F.Y.B.A. and F.Y.B.Com., students must have passed the H.S.C. (Std. XII) Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai, or an examination recognized as equivalent by the University. The subjects must align with those specified by the University for Arts & Commerce.

Science & Commerce Students: Students from XII Science and XII Commerce streams may be admitted to F.Y.B.A. subject to the availability of seats.

Provisional Admission for Migrating Students

Students migrating from other states or passing an examination other than the H.S.C. of the Maharashtra State Board will be admitted on a provisional basis. Final eligibility confirmation will be subject to approval by the University of Mumbai and submission of all required documents.

Provisional Status: Such students will be admitted temporarily while the college forwards their eligibility documents to the University for final confirmation. The admission remains provisional until the University’s confirmation.

Undertaking for Provisional Admission

Parents and students seeking provisional admission must submit an undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper, acknowledging that they have been informed by the college that their admission is provisional. The undertaking should confirm that, if the University cancels the admission on technical grounds at any point, the college will not be held responsible.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S. Degree Course shall have passed:

The H.S.C. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination, or a Diploma in any Engineering branch (with two or three years duration after S.S.C.), conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, or its equivalent examination by securing:

  • Minimum 45% marks for general category (in one attempt) at the respective Examination
  • Minimum 40% marks for the reserved category (in one attempt)

For Students with H.S.C. (Higher Secondary Certificate):

  • Students who have passed the H.S.C. Examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Must secure at least 45% (Open Category) or 40% (Reserved Category) in the aggregate in the first attempt.

For Diploma Holders:

Candidates who have passed a Diploma in any of the following fields after S.S.C. (Xth Standard) are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. (I.T.) degree course:

  • Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology
  • Electrical, Electronics, and Video Engineering and Allied Branches
  • Mechanical and Allied Branches
  • Civil and Allied Branches of Engineering

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The Diploma must be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognized Government Body.
  • Minimum required marks: 45% aggregate for Open Category candidates, and 40% aggregate for Reserved Category candidates.

Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Commerce (Banking & Insurance) Degree Course must meet the following criteria:

  • Passed the XII std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent.
  • Secure at least 45% marks (Open Category) or 40% marks (Reserved Category) in the aggregate in the first attempt.
Course Duration and Related Information

The course is a full-time program with the following details:

  • Duration: 6 semesters, spread over 3 years.
  • Batch Size: A batch will consist of no more than 60 students.
  • Course Structure: The course will comprise 38 subjects and 2 projects.
  • Lecture Hours: Each subject will have a minimum of 50 lectures and a maximum of 55 lectures, with each lecture lasting 50 minutes.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) degree course:

  • Passed the XII Std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent.
  • Secured at least 45% marks in aggregate in the first attempt (or 40% in case of reserved category).
University Registration

Every candidate admitted to the degree course in a constituent/affiliated college or recognized institution conducting the course is required to:

  • Register themselves with the University.

HSC or equivalent from any stream / 3 years Diploma from MSBTE or equivalent.
